Situated close to the beach and the bustling center, the location is certainly a highlight. I appreciated the super clean room, which boasted air conditioning-ideal for the warm climate of Sri Lanka. The free Wi-Fi allowed me to catch up on some work amidst my tea plantation adventures. A word of advice: call ahead if you're aiming for an early check-in, as language barriers made communication a bit tricky at times. While services such as paid airport shuttles and laundry are available, I found it wise to choose carefully based on your needs. I felt Zen provided a great balance of comfort and cost-effectiveness, making it a smart choice for those exploring the beautiful central highlands.
